Hi, I’m Sherry (Sharon) West. My Grandmothers taught me to knit when I was about seven and I’ve been hooked ever since. Knitting led to many other passions like embroidery, quilting, crochet, beading, needlepoint, basket weaving, spinning, jewelry making, oh my gosh I’ll stop there, it’s too much already.

The point is I love to create, design, and teach.  My business is called “Anna Banana” after my first granddaughter, Aneliese. I specialize in high quality and unusual beads and supplies, yarn, and fiber. I also teach several classes. I create and customize classes to the needs of my students who are interested in learning a craft.

I decided to create this web site so I can share with you my designs and ideas.

On this site you will find a very useful software tool for those of you who want to venture into creating your own designs. It’s easy and fun to use. In the old days, I would develop my designs by hand using graph paper. This was really time consuming, especially when making changes. I looked for a software product that could help…too expensive. So I decided to partner with a software developer that was willing to work for peanuts (salted in the shell) and set out to create my own Charting software. The result is “Creative Design ChartMaker ”. This program is simple to use and will save you tons of time AND it’s affordable.
